Katrina Marler M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Hello my name is Katrina Marler. I am the BCBA and owner of Successful Child. I oversee the clinical and administration duties of the company. My favorite aspect of my day is being apart of the daily success’s of our kiddos and working with our amazing families. My passion and dedication to helping our community is evident in the environment I have created. Successful Child was created out of my desire to offer an ABA company that enriches the therapeutic experiences with my belief that “children learn through play.” I am a mother to four sons, four dogs and have been married for 14 years. I thoroughly enjoy being able to spend quality time with my family.

Paul Cooper, BCBA
Hello, my Name is Paul Cooper. I started at Successful Child ABA in October of 2021 as an RBT, became a QASP-S in January of 2023, and earned my certification to become a BCBA in June of 2024. I hold a Masters in Special Education with an emphasis on Behavioral Analysis. I am married and have 2 children. I enjoy ABA therapy because I have seen the results in the lives of the clients that I have been able to serve. I enjoy going fishing with my sons and eating whatever baked goods my wife is making.

Mae Laster, Operations Manager
Hello! I'm Mae Laster, the Operations Manager at Successful Child ABA Therapy. I manage new patient onboarding, day-to-day operations, and support our business growth. My mission is to help expand our company and make a meaningful impact on the lives of many families, while creating more opportunities for all. Since joining Successful Child in April 2024, I've witnessed remarkable progress and growth. It's truly fulfilling to support such an incredible team. On a personal note, I aspire to open and manage my own business, applying the skills I'm developing in this role. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Business Management. What I love most about my job is connecting with both families and colleagues, and seeing everyone thrive and succeed together.

Amanda Tokiwa, Office Manager
My name is Amanda. My family recently relocated here from Hawaii. I have two teenage daughters. We have been blessed to travel the U.S with my husband during his military career. I love spending my free time with my family and exploring the beautiful state we live in. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I have taught at many preschools throughout the U.S. I am so excited to work with your child. It’s going to be a year of fun, learning, and adventures. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!

My name is Caroline Kelley. I transitioned from the field of being a teacher for the past 8 years to a RBT after finishing my masters in ABA in hopes of becoming a BCBA. My husband and I have 2 children and are expecting our 3rd boy soon! As family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, watching movies, and taking mini trips. My love for ABA began when I started seeing the results of the students I worked with in the educational environment and fueled my desire to go back to school to pursue aba full time!

Hello! My name is Amelia, and I am a Registered Behavior Technician and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology and applied behavior analysis, with the goal of becoming a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). With over 10 years of experience working with children in different educational settings, I am a firm believer in learning through play, and I am passionate about the positive impact Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) can have on children’s development and family dynamics. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 4-year-old son and our hound dog, Blue, exploring new places and watching Disney movies together!

Cassy Campbell. RBT
Hello, my name is Cassy Campbell! I am an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), hoping to continue my education in order to become a BCBA. As a mom of two boys, I have found guiding children as they grow and learn to be the most fulfilling aspect of my life. I am involved in Special Olympics in Onslow County, where I volunteer across many sports, as well as participate in fundraisers and events. Working with adults and children with diverse needs, nurturing talents and empowering their success, is what sparked a passion towards starting a career in Applied Behavior Analysis. I am thrilled to be a part of the Successful Child ABA team and look forward to supporting each child’s unique journey!

Hannah Burlew, RBT
Hello, my name is Hannah Burlew! I'm a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Special Education. I bring four years of experience working in the public school system, where I served as both a 1:1 Exceptional Children (EC) assistant and a substitute teacher, primarily in EC classrooms. In May 2025, I joined Successful Child ABA Therapy as an RBT, and I’m passionate about helping each child reach their individual goals. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner and our golden doodle, Luna. We love hiking together and having movie nights—especially anything from the Marvel universe!

Jess Lewis, RBT
Hi! My name is Jess, and I’m a Registered Behavior Technician. I joined the ABA field in June of 2025 with a passion for helping kids learn, grow, and express themselves with confidence. I hold two Bachelor’s degrees—one in Psychology and one in Criminal Justice—and I’m excited to bring that background into the world of behavioral therapy. I believe in the power of small steps and positive reinforcement to make a big impact. Outside of work, I love building Lego sets (it’s my favorite way to unwind), and I have a one-year-old puppy named Trinity who keeps life fun and full of energy!
